About the role

The role is a six-month fixed term contract with the opportunity for extension and/or permanency based 3 days a week out of their offices in the inner suburbs of Melbourne and 2 days at home.
 
Key Responsibilities:

The Payroll Officer manages end-to-end payroll across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accurate processing for a high-volume, multi-entity workforce. Key duties include payroll administration, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance within iChris, including STP submissions and year-end processes. The role also involves maintaining data integrity, handling payroll queries, supporting audits and month-end reporting, assisting with process improvements and system testing, and collaborating closely with People & Culture and Finance teams.
 
About You
We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Officer or Administrator with 3+ years’ experience, ideally in large, multi-entity payroll environments. You’ll be confident with payroll systems (iChris preferred), experienced with EBAs and Awards, and comfortable managing high-volume payroll autonomously. Attention to detail, reliability, and flexibility are key, with initial onsite work expected and the ability to start immediately.
