Key Responsibilities
- Win new business through proactive outbound activity, pipeline building, and relationship development
- Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio, identifying upsell opportunities and improving account profitability
- Lead pricing, margin, and contract negotiations end-to-end
- Build and maintain pipeline, forecasting, and activity cadence using a CRM (Pipedrive or similar)
- Partner with logistics and operations to ensure consistent service and delivery
- Travel periodically to key customers across major ANZ markets (quarterly travel expected)
- High activity and momentum, you’re consistently creating opportunity
- New customer wins and profitable growth across your portfolio
- Strong commercial judgement across negotiations, pricing, and margin management
- A reputation for reliability and follow-through with customers and internal stakeholders
- Proven B2B sales experience in a true hunter capacity (you enjoy the chase and can create opportunities from scratch)
- Strong commercial acumen, including confidence negotiating pricing and managing profitability
- Self-starter mindset: you take ownership, work autonomously, and don’t need hand-holding
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment
- CRM discipline and strong written communication (contracts, customer updates, internal coordination)
- Industry background is flexible: candidates from adjacent categories are encouraged if you bring the drive, energy, and commercial capability
