Our client is seeking a commercially astute and strategic Head of Operations to lead its operations across Australia. This role is pivotal in connecting operational delivery with financial commitments and budgets, driving significant business process improvements, and acting as a key change maker.
The Role
The Head of Operations will be a strategic leader and visionary ensuring operational delivery aligns with financial commitments and budgets. This role involves planning for the future, implementing improvements within business processes, and proactively driving the business forward.
The individual will identify and implement changes to enhance efficiency and automation, directly impacting the bottom line. Future-oriented thinking is crucial, as the Head of Operations will identify risks and opportunities in processes that could affect the business within 6-12 months.
This role includes managing a team of direct reports whilst working collaboratively with the global business. The Head of Operations will determine the most effective ways to educate customers, whether through remote, face-to-face, e-learning, or automation, to ensure their success.
About You
A strong commercial background with exposure to sales and marketing is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strategic thinking abilities, capable of developing and implementing a longer-term roadmap for priorities and projects aligned with broader business objectives. Experience in driving change and improvement within business processes is required. A background in a SaaS business environment is highly advantageous.
