We have partnered with an international FMCG business with a portfolio of well known biscuit and confectionery brands is growing its Australian operation. While globally established, the local business operates with a challenger mindset and ambitious growth plans, including a clear objective to significantly scale over the next three years. The Australian team is lean, entrepreneurial and highly collaborative, offering strong visibility and impact for the right hire.

About the Role

This is a newly created Product Manager role, designed to bring dedicated ownership to innovation and growth initiatives in the Australian market. Reporting into the local Marketing Director, you will own the end to end new product development pipeline, from identifying opportunities through to successful market launch. You will be working on a challenger brand with heritage roots in other markets, so you will need to leverage global brand assets whilst adapting to the local market and grocery channels. Operating in a small team environment, this role offers a high level of autonomy and exposure across marketing, category, supply chain, finance and sales. You will work closely with global stakeholders and play a key role in shaping the future product portfolio locally. As the business grows, there is potential to build a team and broaden scope.

About You

You are a Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager with strong FMCG experience and a proven track record in launching successful innovations either on a challenger or heritage brand. You thrive in fast paced, lean environments and are comfortable rolling up your sleeves beyond a traditional role remit. You bring strong project management capability, commercial thinking and the confidence to operate independently. An entrepreneurial mindset is essential, along with the ability to collaborate cross functionally and manage multiple stakeholders, including international teams. This role will suit someone looking for more ownership, influence and visibility as part of the next phase of business growth. You must be willing to do out of hours meetings and calls with the UK on a weekly basis.
