Our Client is a well-established Australian business specialising in premium European-designed products, supplying a range of high-end retailers and customers across the country. Following consistent growth and strong demand, the business is now entering its next phase of development. As part of a broader leadership restructure focused on improving operational performance and increasing EBITDA, they are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to bring greater structure, efficiency, and accountability to the warehouse and supply chain function.

The Role of Operations Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse and operational workflow, acting as the key link between warehouse operations, purchasing, and customer service. A core priority for the role will be stabilising and professionalising the warehouse environment, introducing clear processes, and improving stock accuracy and operational efficiency. The position will also play a key role in preparing the business for future growth and the implementation of a Warehouse Management System.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading and structuring the warehouse team
  • Introducing SOPs and improving operational processes
  • Managing inbound shipments and supplier coordination
  • Overseeing inventory accuracy and stock management
  • Supporting purchasing and supplier communication
  • Acting as the operational link between warehouse, purchasing, and customer service
  • Contributing to the future implementation of a WMS system
We’re Looking For a hands-on Operations or Warehouse Manager who enjoys building structure within growing businesses and improving operational performance.

Key experience includes:
  • Strong warehouse and operations management background
  • Experience implementing operational processes and SOPs
  • Exposure to Lean principles or 5S methodologies
  • Experience managing international suppliers and inbound containers
  • Ability to lead and structure small teams
  • Strong communication skills across operations, suppliers, and customer service
Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite and exposure to WMS implementation would be advantageous.
