Six Degrees Executive is partnering with a well-established Queensland Government infrastructure and maintenance-focused organisation to recruit an AO3 Business Support Officer for an immediate start through to 17 July 2026.
This opportunity will suit a candidate with strong data entry capability, high attention to detail, and previous experience working in a fast-paced administrative or accounts environment. Supporting a busy team, this role will focus primarily on accounts payable data entry, invoice compliance, and related processing tasks within a high-volume setting.
The successful candidate will be someone who can work efficiently and accurately, take initiative, and remain focused while managing repetitive tasks. You will also bring a strong working knowledge of Adobe Pro, Outlook and Excel, along with the ability to contribute positively to team outcomes while working autonomously.

As the AO3 Business Support Officer, you will:
- Undertake high-volume accounts payable data entry with a strong focus on speed and accuracy
- Review and process invoices to ensure compliance with internal requirements
- Complete a range of accounts payable and administrative support tasks as required
- Maintain accuracy across a variety of document types and information systems
- Work within a structured team environment while managing day-to-day tasks independently
- Identify discrepancies or errors in documentation and assist in reducing processing issues
- Support the wider team across similar-level tasks when required, without disrupting workflow
- Communicate clearly regarding task progress, priorities, and any issues that may impact delivery
- Previous experience in data entry, ideally within a high-volume environment
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe Pro, Outlook and Excel
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to team goals
- Initiative and sound judgement when working through tasks and information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to adapt to repetitive work while maintaining a high standard of output
- A willingness to seek clarity, ask questions, and proactively flag issues or delays
- Exposure to accounts payable processing or invoice compliance activities
- The ability to quickly understand the information being processed so that errors are minimised
- Confidence working across different document formats and administrative tasks in a busy team environment
- Hours of work are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Up to 38 hours per week
- This contract will run through to 17 July 2026
- Please note there is no extension available beyond this date
