IT Project Manager | Hands‑On, Varied Projects
Melbourne | Hybrid
Permanent

We’re on the lookout for an IT Project Manager who enjoys variety, teamwork and seeing their work go live. You’ll be joining a stable, family‑owned Australian organisation with a big year ahead on the tech front — and a small, friendly IT team where everyone pitches in.

This role is ideal for a PM who’s confident running projects, happy to roll up their sleeves, and keen to build broad experience across enterprise systems.

What makes this role interesting?
  • A busy and diverse project pipeline (no two days the same)
  • Mix of cloud platforms, business systems and integrations
  • Real exposure to the business — not just status reports
  • Supportive, values‑driven culture with a long‑term mindset
Projects you’ll be working on:

Some projects are already underway, others coming down the track:
  • Reporting and planning platform upgrades (TM1, EMDA, Cognos)
  • Salesforce Experience Cloud customer portal
  • Integration migration (MuleSoft to Workato)
  • Workday implementation
Coming up:
  • ERP upgrade (Sage X3)
  • Zero Trust security uplift
  • Anti‑Money Laundering solution
  • OH&S platform migration
What you’ll do day‑to‑day
  • Help plan, run and deliver multiple IT projects at once
  • Keep project plans, risks and actions up to date
  • Coordinate stakeholders, workshops and vendors
  • Track timelines, dependencies and budgets
  • Support testing, training and go‑live activities
  • Jump in where needed — we’re a small team and like it that way
This role might be for you if you:
  • Have experience in IT project delivery
  • Enjoy working closely with stakeholders and teams
  • Are organised, proactive and comfortable juggling priorities
  • Have worked with Agile and/or Waterfall approaches
  • Like understanding the “why” — not just the checklist
  • Enjoy taking ownership and building internal relationships
Nice to have (but not essential):
  • Background in Business Analysis
  • Exposure to ERP, HR, finance or integration projects
  • PRINCE2, PMBOK or similar certification.
You’ll be trusted, supported, and encouraged to grow — not micromanaged.
