Practice Lead

Sonya joined Six Degrees Executive in 2026 and leads our contracting Technology practice in Melbourne, partnering with organisations across Consumer & FMCG, Retail, Government, Healthcare, Education and Not-for-profit ecosystems. She recruits mid-level through to senior Technology professionals across permanent and temporary appointments.

Starting her recruitment career in 2006, Sonya has built deep capability across Technical Operations, ERP, Infrastructure, Architecture, Project Services and transformation programs. She understands how technology functions underpin operational performance and large-scale change, and works closely with clients to structure teams that support both stability and innovation.

Her approach has always been grounded in emotional intelligence and collaboration - and Sonya is known for building trusted partnerships with each connection, navigating complex technical briefs with both clarity and care.

Outside of recruitment, Sonya is an adventurer at heart - a 4WD enthusiast, camper and traveller. Most recently, she completed a challenging outback rally drive to raise funds for cancer research.
