Six Degrees is currently partnering with a large Queensland Government infrastructure delivery team to recruit an AO5 Advisor - Document Control for an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

This opportunity sits within a major, high-profile program environment and will suit an experienced document control professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced project setting with high volumes of documentation, multiple stakeholders, and established governance requirements.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project delivery through effective document control processes, system administration, workflow management, quality assurance, and compliance with project and recordkeeping requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support day-to-day document control activities across a major project environment
  • Review and coordinate updates to document control plans, procedures, and workflows
  • Ensure documentation and project information is stored, tracked, and managed in line with internal procedures, contractual obligations, and recordkeeping standards
  • Coordinate document review and approval processes across project and package documentation
  • Provide support to users of document management systems and document control processes
  • Facilitate training sessions for project team members on document control procedures and system usage
  • Assist with quality checks, audits, reporting, archiving, and document numbering requests
  • Coordinate administration and transfer of project data across multiple platforms, including document and information management systems
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support broader document control activities across the team
About You:
  • Previous experience in a document control role within a project-based environment
  • Prior experience using InEight Document / TeamBinder is essential
  • Strong ability to manage high volumes of documentation in a fast-paced setting
  • Demonstrated understanding of document management, version control, workflows, and compliance processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy across complex documentation
  • Confident working with a range of stakeholders and supporting users across document management processes
  • Experience in a major infrastructure, construction, or government project environment will be highly regarded
  • Comfortable working in an office-based role within a collaborative project team
