With the majority of revenue generated under multi-year service agreements and operations running across multiple client sites, this is a business built on reliability, accountability and genuine care for its customers. The Role

This is a pivotal leadership appointment. As NSW General Manager, you will take full accountability for the P&L, operational performance, client relationships and people leadership across almost every function in the business. Reporting directly to the founder, you will be the senior operational leader on the ground — ensuring service delivery excellence, driving commercial outcomes, managing workforce and industrial relations obligations, and building the capability of the organisation. This role carries a potential pathway to Chief Executive Officer, with the expectation that a high-performing incumbent with the right values and work ethic will step into the CEO position within approximately 18 months. It is a rare opportunity to lead a respected business with genuine succession in sight.

The Person 

You will be a proven operational leader with direct P&L accountability gained in a contracted services environment — whether that is soft facilities management, technical or mechanical maintenance services, or a similar field where revenue sits under contract and services are delivered at client sites. Your background matters less than your character. You lead with integrity, work with tenacity and hold yourself to the same standards you expect of your team, you will also be a leader who cares about their team, can develop capability and create followship. You are highly organised, proactive and unflappable — the kind of leader who is always across what matters and never caught off guard. You communicate with equal confidence to blue-collar frontline teams and senior client stakeholders, adapting your style without losing your authenticity. Prior experience in EBA negotiations and industrial relations management is strongly preferred.
