A pivotal opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced General Manager of Operations reporting directly to the COO. You will take full ownership or the Process, Production, Manufacturing / Engineering and Warehouse functions for the business, driving continuous improvement, system efficiencies and cost refinements.

It is essential that the GM is able to drive safe, efficient and quality-focussed performance across three national sites and can align process, packing and engineering functions within supply chain efficient methodologies.

The role will suit an accomplished operational leader with a background in related industries (food / fcmg / manufacturing etc..) incorporating knowledge across both SME and larger business environments.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Able to deliver end to end production and packaging efficiencies
  • Proven in the optimisation of raw material intake and inventory management
  • Strong understanding of food safety
  • Confident in quality control protocols
  • Able to direct supply chain and warehouse functions
  • Proven in your ability to drive plant and equipment reliability plus production processes
  • Cost control understanding and lean manufacturing principles
  • Engineering qualified with a drive for preventative maintained strategies
