An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced social procurement and stakeholder engagement professional to join a major Queensland infrastructure program delivering significant transport improvements ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
This high-profile project is focused on large-scale rail and community infrastructure upgrades across South East Queensland and is currently entering a major delivery phase. The role will work across multiple construction packages and contractors to help maximise social outcomes, local participation, and community benefits.
About the Role As the AO7 Principal Advisor (Social Outcomes), you will lead the coordination and delivery of social outcomes initiatives across a complex infrastructure environment.

About the Role As the AO7 Principal Advisor (Social Outcomes), you will lead the coordination and delivery of social outcomes initiatives across a complex infrastructure environment.
You will work closely with major contractors, government stakeholders, industry representatives, and community organisations to support outcomes relating to:
- Local employment opportunities
- First Nations participation
- Small and family business engagement
- Social enterprise involvement
- Workforce diversity initiatives
- Local supply chain participation
Key Responsibilities
- Lead social outcomes coordination across multiple project delivery teams
- Monitor and report on contractor social outcomes commitments and performance
- Build strong relationships with contractors, government stakeholders, and community organisations
- Identify risks, issues, and opportunities relating to social outcomes delivery
- Support community and stakeholder engagement activities, events, and initiatives
- Provide strategic advice and briefing material to senior stakeholders
- Assist with audits, governance activities, and program reporting
- Work collaboratively with communications and engagement teams to promote positive project outcomes
- Maintain accurate stakeholder records and reporting data using CRM systems and Microsoft tools
- Experience in social procurement, social outcomes, stakeholder engagement, or community benefit programs
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement capability
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills, particularly using Excel and reporting tools
- Experience working across large infrastructure, construction, or government environments
- Strong written communication and briefing note preparation skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive collaborative outcomes
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Knowledge of Queensland procurement frameworks and purposeful procurement principles
- Experience working with First Nations engagement initiatives
- Exposure to major transport or infrastructure projects
- Experience working within government or contractor environments
- Brisbane CBD based with hybrid flexibility
- Regular travel to project and community sites required
- Current driver licence required
- Criminal history check required prior to commencement
- One direct report
