Executive Consultant
Sam joined Six Degrees Executive in Brisbane in 2022 and is an Executive Consultant specialising in Government contracting. He partners with Queensland’s Government sector to connect mid-level professionals through to senior leaders across short and long term contracts. While he primarily specialises in Human Resources and Communications appointments, Sam recruits across a broad range of corporate and project-based functions within the Government ecosystem.
Since moving into recruitment, Sam has built a strong reputation in the market, recognised through multiple Sourcr Recruiter of the Year awards in the Government category at both a Queensland and national level. His consistent results reflect his ability to understand complex briefs, move with pace and build trusted relationships across departments.
Before transitioning into recruitment, Sam built his career in the not-for-profit and mental health sectors, working across child and youth programs and later in senior clinical and team leadership roles. Sam works closely with hiring managers to ensure contract appointments are aligned to both operational need and community outcomes. He understands the pace, governance and accountability of Queensland’s Government environments and is focused on building trusted, long-term partnerships with both clients and candidates.
Outside of work, Sam is a passionate football player, father and Chelsea supporter, and an avid gamer.
