Sam Rubino

Executive Consultant

Sam joined the Six Degrees Executive Brisbane team in 2022 as a Talent Engagement Specialist when the QLD office were launching Government. He has since been promoted to Consultant, Senior Consultant and now Executive Consultant within the Public Sector team with a focus on Government contracting. 

Sam has received multiple Sourcr Recruitment Awards in the Government category, including the Australian title in 2023/2024, and Queensland in 2025.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Human Services from the University of Southern QLD and a Graduate Certificate of Business in Human Resources Management from QLD University of Technology.

Previously, Sam was working in the Non-for-profit space across multiple different child and youth mental health programs. He also worked at Headspace as a senior intake clinician. More recently, he was an Acting Team Leader for the Family Mental Heath Support Service (FMHSS) in South Brisbane and Team Leader for the National Psychosocial Support Measure (NPSM).

Outside of work, Sam is a passionate soccer and Chelsea fan. He loves building and painting warhammer models and walking his cavoodle Tilly.
