About The Role
This is not a traditional sales role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth throughout New South Wales by identifying, developing and converting new residential builder relationships while increasing market share across existing segments. Approximately 70% of your focus will be on winning new business and creating opportunity within the market, with the balance centred around strengthening existing builder partnerships and driving greater share of wallet.
You'll be given significant autonomy to build your territory, develop commercial strategies and influence the future direction of the NSW business.
For the right individual, this role offers a genuine pathway into broader commercial leadership as the business continues to expand nationally.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a growth strategy to increase market share across NSW
- Identify, engage and convert new residential builder accounts
- Build trusted relationships with business owners, directors, estimators, supervisors and site personnel
- Drive the adoption of innovative building solutions through education and value-based selling
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify new opportunities
- Work closely with internal estimating, design and operations teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate forecasting and reporting
- Represent the business at industry events, builder functions and customer engagements
- A successful track record in business development within residential construction or building products
- Experience selling a specialised, technical or disruptive product into builders or contractors
- The ability to create opportunity rather than simply manage existing accounts
- Strong commercial acumen and an ability to think beyond sales activity alone
- Confidence engaging stakeholders ranging from business owners and executives through to tradespeople onsite
- A self-directed and entrepreneurial approach to territory management
