Our client is a leading, global FMCG business with a suite of well-loved iconic heritage household brands across multiple categories. Due to strong growth, there is now an opportunity to join the team as a Procurement Category Manager within the Packaging category.

About the role
As a Senior Category Manager, you will work with a range of suppliers to drive increased profitability while maintaining strong relationships and alignment with company values and strategic direction.

Skills + Experience
  • At least 5-7 years’ procurement experience in top-tier or sophisticated manufacturing environments
  • Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills
  • Experience managing spend of minimum $40m and over, and working autonomously
  • Strong strategic category management principles, and exposure to best practice procurement processes
  • Category experience – you will ideally have worked in the Packaging category, but candidates with relevant experience in other categories and who have a strong interest in FMCG are encouraged to apply
