Burnette joined Six Degrees Executive in Brisbane in 2023 and leads Technology recruitment across the Public Sector ecosystem. She specialises in Project and Program Management appointments across Queensland Government, Government Owned Corporations and Higher Education organisations.
With over 14 years’ ICT recruitment experience, Burnette brings deep market knowledge and an understanding of contingent labour hire models and governance frameworks. She partners with mid-level professionals through to senior leaders across contract and permanent appointments, supporting digital transformation and operational uplift initiatives.
Burnette is known for her direct, transparent style and strong stakeholder relationships across the Queensland market. She works closely with clients to define role scope and capability requirements, ensuring appointments align to both compliance standards and long-term outcomes. She understands the pace and accountability of public sector environments and focuses on building trust-based partnerships.
Outside of work, Burnette enjoys competitive netball and spending time at the beach with family and friends.
