Role Overview:
Take ownership of a defined territory with the freedom to hunt in high-opportunity areas. Build strong relationships with decision-makers across warehousing, logistics, and industrial sectors. This is a hands-on, face-to-face sales role for someone who thrives on networking, problem solving, and winning work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving sales in assigned territory. Flexibility to hunt in high work flow areas.
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including Operation Managers, Supply Chain Managers, CEO's/Business owners, Procurement, Indusial Property organisations.
- Will need to focus on securing new business opportunities, meeting KPI's and sales targets.
- Must maintain a proactive business development approach, utilising networking events and building relationships outside the office consistently.
Skills & Attributes:
- Experience: Proven track record in sales, within the industrial, materials handling, or warehousing sectors.
- Skills: Strong ability to build relationships, with a customer-focused mindset. Proactive, energetic, and confident individual who thrives on networking and 'pressing the flesh'. Understanding of key stakeholders as mentioned above, and how to solution sell to these targeted customers.
- Mindset: A natural sense of urgency, motivated by targets and driven by results. Must be capable of thinking outside the box to close deals and contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Background: Interested in profiles from direct competitors, as well as candidates who have sold into similar channels.
