Seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join a leading food manufacturing business based in regional Victoria for a temporary contract of 8–12 weeks. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting critical maintenance operations in a high-performing production environment leading up to and during a shutdown period.

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, and coordination of all maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to production. Your attention to detail and strong system skills will help drive efficiency and maintain compliance with preventive maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Create and manage service purchase orders (POs)
  • Maintain and monitor SAP work orders and ensure timely completion
  • Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance (PM) activities
  • Liaise with contractors and service providers as the key point of contact
  • Work closely with the maintenance and operations teams to align priorities

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
  • Prior experience as a Maintenance Planner or Scheduler, ideally in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong SAP skills (essential)
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving
