About The Client
We’re proud to partner with Fresh To Go Foods—a fast-growing producer of high-quality, fresh sandwiches, wraps and ready-to-eat meals. My client is committed to delivering delicious, safe and convenient food solutions to cafés, retailers and food-service operators. Their culture is built on teamwork, innovation and a genuine passion for fresh food.

About The Role
We’re seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to support our client’s Production Manager across their site in Stapylton. In this role you’ll be the Manager’s right hand—overseeing the daily operations on the floor, driving safety and quality initiatives, and ensuring their production KPIs and customer deadlines are met every day.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead by example to maintain a safe, HACCP-compliant work environment; identify hazards and coach your team on proper work practices
  • Allocate and supervise production staff, manage attendance and ensure policies are followed
  • Rotate team members through roles to develop skills and prevent repetitive-strain injuries
  • Coordinate daily production schedules, paperwork sign-off and recovery reporting
  • Monitor stock rotation—ingredients, bread, packaging—and ensure all materials are stored correctly
  • Perform daily GMP and quality checks; report non-conformances and liaise with QA as needed
  • Induct new team members into QA processes and SOPs; run toolbox talks/training sessions as directed
  • Keep the production area and office tidy, with rubbish removed at regular intervals
  • Liaise with the Production Manager on staffing needs, resource gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement

About You
  • You thrive in a fast-paced production environment and take pride in delivering a high-quality product
  • You hold a strong working knowledge of HACCP and food-safety processes, with practical QA/GMP experience
  • You bring proven supervisory or team-lead experience in a food-manufacturing setting
  • You have solid skills in team communication, conflict resolution and basic HR/IR principles (especially OHS)
  • You’re detail-oriented, with a continuous-improvement mindset and the ability to coach others on best practices
  • You’re comfortable generating and interpreting daily reports, and driving change through data
