We’re excited to be partnering exclusively with a high-growth, fast-paced FMCG distribution business to recruit a commercially confident and hands-on National Account Manager. This is a rare opportunity to step into a role with full ownership of the Woolworths account, working across a unique portfolio of challenger and international brands in a high-opportunity category.

As the portfolio grows, they are now looking for a dynamic, strategic operator who thrives in lean environments and knows how to make an impact quickly.
The Role
You’ll take full ownership of the Woolworths account, driving strategic growth across a diverse portfolio of brands and categories. While Woolworths will be your primary focus, you’ll also play a key role in broader grocery initiatives and cross-functional commercial planning. This is a high-impact role within a lean, fast-moving team, offering exposure to multiple brands—from disruptive challenger products to established international names.
As the portfolio and team continue to expand, this role also offers a clear pathway into leadership, with the opportunity to shape how the grocery function evolves in the years ahead.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of the Woolworths account, including JBP, range reviews, promotional strategy, and performance tracking
- Build and maintain collaborative buyer relationships and act as the key liaison with internal stakeholders (particularly senior leadership)
- Work closely with category and marketing to develop compelling customer plans
- Operate confidently in a lean environment with minimal handholding and limited CRM or system support
- Be hands-on across multiple accounts and brand projects as required

- Diplomatic communication style – able to push back when needed, with credibility
- Proactive and self-starting – thrives without micro-management
- Able to manage up, particularly in a lean and entrepreneurial structure
- Previous Woolworths or major retailer exposure preferred, but not essential

The Package
- Base Salary: Competative (Ranges on expereince)
- Superannuation: 12%
- Bonus: ~10% (blended company + individual performance, consistently paid)
- Work Flex: Hybrid model (5 days expected in-office, reducing to 4-1 after the first few months in the business)
