About the Role
The Marketing and Communications Business Partner is responsible for a portfolio of brands, providing expert advice and hands-on execution of marketing and communications strategies. The role is pivotal in increasing brand awareness, developing positive brand associations, and engaging diverse audiences through professional and consistent messaging across multiple channels. This position supports content development, media relations, digital campaigns, and the coordination of events and internal communications, ensuring alignment with organisational goals

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies and plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Guide brand management activities, ensuring consistent application of brand guidelines and positive brand reputation.
  • Deliver digital marketing campaigns, including content creation, analytics, and performance reporting.
  • Manage events and sponsorships, overseeing content, logistics, and impact measurement.
  • Lead the creation and distribution of communications materials, including media releases, newsletters, and annual reports.
  • Oversee website management, including content updates, SEO initiatives, and performance monitoring

Qualifications and Skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing and communications.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the field and 2 years in a management role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in campaign management, digital marketing, stakeholder engagement, and communications.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for a range of audiences and build positive relationships.
  • Design capabilities and experience with Canva, WordPress, Drupal, Meltwater and Google Analytics.
  • Effective team player who shares information openly and supports colleagues to achieve collective goals.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and demonstrates initiative and self-management in complex task.
