Our client is an Australian owned mid-size player in the grocery space, known for their commitment to quality, taste and innovation across their portfolio of much-loved brands found in homes across the country.

The business is undergoing an exciting period of change, investment and evolution, including the acquisition of new brands, the creation of new roles and transformation of team structures to support in building and growing their brands.

About the Role 
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Brand Manager will own a $20M multi-brand (and very delicious!) food portfolio.
You'll take on ownership across two existing and high-priority brands for the business, developing plans to drive growth through range and channel and supporting with retailer activation.
Though 360 in nature, you will have a strong focus on consumer led innovation and NPD, expanding into new formats and segments, as well as having the opportunity to develop and launch two new premium brands and portfolios into the grocery space, supporting these launches with trade and retail activation.

This role will best suit a candidate with

  • Prior experience at an Assistant Brand Manager or Brand Manager level within the FMCG space who keen to take a step up, (or alternatively a more senior/experienced option in a four day a week capacity)
  • A love and passion for all things food
  • Strong innovation and NPD experience, working via stage gate and alongside manufacturing teams
  • The ability to be both strategic and hands on in your role, with experience driving projects from insight and ideation to through execution
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, relationship building, communication and influence skills
