About the Role
This newly created Commercial Manager – Sales & Distribution role is a hands-on leadership position with full ownership of commercial revenue streams. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead sales, distribution, and brand execution across retail, wholesale, foodservice, and export markets.
You’ll manage key customer relationships, develop channel strategies, oversee commercial negotiations, and collaborate closely with supply chain, and operations to ensure seamless delivery from production to shelf. This role offers a rare opportunity to build and shape the commercial function in a values-driven business scaling nationally.

Skills & Experience Required
- Proven commercial experience in FMCG or premium food sales and distribution, ideally from a small-to-mid-size or growing business
- Demonstrated ability to manage wholesale, distributor, and retailer relationships end-to-end
- Strong commercial acumen including pricing, forecasting, trade spend, and promotional planning
- Experience leading sales negotiations and managing customer KPIs
- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work cross-functionally across supply chain, marketing, and operations
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage at senior levels
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in an agile and fast-paced environment
