I’m currently partnering with a well established, highly respected omnichannel retailer to appoint a Head of Performance on a 12 month maternity leave cover.
This is a senior, commercially focused role sitting at the heart of how the business drives growth across online and physical stores. It’s ideal for someone who loves using data to unlock performance, influence cross functional teams and turn insight into action at scale.
The Opportunity
This role owns end to end performance across paid, owned and trading channels, working closely with Marketing, Ecommerce, CRM, Merchandising, Analytics and Store teams. You’ll lead a small, capable team and play a key role in shaping how performance is measured, optimised and communicated across the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Owning performance strategy across digital, ecommerce and in store
• Driving customer acquisition, retention and profitable growth
• Leading trading performance, optimisation and ROI across paid and owned channels
• Partnering with marketing and merchandising on campaigns, promotions and seasonal planning
• Translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
• Building strong reporting frameworks, dashboards and optimisation rhythms
• Leading and developing a high performing performance marketing team
• Working closely with agencies and key external partners
What We're Looking For
• Senior performance, trading or growth experience within retail/omnichannel environments
• Strong background across paid digital channels and performance marketing
• Highly data literate with the ability to influence and simplify
• Proven people leader who can motivate, coach and deliver through others
• Comfortable operating in fast paced, high volume retail businesses
• Commercially sharp, outcome driven and collaborative
• Strong communications and stakeholder management skills
