Now in its fifth year, this nationally recognised study is a trusted source of insight for marketing, digital and eCommerce professionals navigating a fast-changing landscape. For the first time, the spotlight turns solely to retail — with a dedicated report unpacking the state of play across Australia’s dynamic consumer sector.

Developed in partnership with Arktic Fox, this edition explores how retailers are recalibrating in the face of tighter consumer spend, heightened commercial pressures, and the growing influence of GenAI and data transformation.

With input from over 60 senior retail, marketing and digital leaders, the report reveals how organisations are reshaping strategies to meet tomorrow’s customer and where gaps in capability, infrastructure and innovation still exist.


The data within this report was sourced via an online questionnaire containing 66 questions. Responses were collected between February and April 2025.
