Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing healthcare/medical supply distributor in the middle of an ambitious growth phase, targeting a doubling of revenue over the next three years. As part of that growth, they've just opened a brand-new Brisbane warehouse fitted with AutoStore automation, one of the most advanced goods-to-person systems in the industry.


They're now looking for a Stock Control Team Leader to lead a team of 3 Stock Controllers and own inventory accuracy across this new, automated site.

What you'll be doing:
  • Leading and coordinating the day-to-day workload of a team of 3 Stock Controllers
  • Driving stock record accuracy toward 99–100%, and receipting/picking accuracy toward 100%
  • Overseeing receipting, despatch, picking, and stock transfers across the site
  • Coordinating stocktakes and investigating stock, order, and freight discrepancies
  • Training and developing your team's skills and competency
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse
  • Supporting continuous improvement as the business scales toward its growth targets
What you'll bring:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse environment, including computerised warehousing systems
  • At least 2 years in a team leader / middle management capacity
  • Current forklift licence
  • HSC (or equivalent) and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a mathematical aptitude
  • Confident, accurate computer literacy
  • The ability to lead, direct, and get the best out of a small team
  • A self-starter mentality. Comfortable in a fast-scaling business where processes are still being built
Nice to have:
  • Experience in medical/healthcare supply warehousing
  • Exposure to automated warehousing systems (AutoStore or similar)
  • Experience working within a documented Quality Management System (e.g. ISO 9001/9002)
