Katie started with Six Degrees Executive Melbourne in 2019. Executive Consultant, she recruits across the senior end of Accounting and Finance with a specialist focus on Contracting roles.
Prior to joining Six Degrees as a Recruitment Consultant, life and work have been an exciting adventure. After graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelors in Public Relations in 2008, Katie travelled the world for four years working and travelling across Europe, Africa, Asia and South and North America. After arriving in Melbourne, Katie held roles across events, marketing and communications, account management and business development in sports, energy, workforce & training, and travel.
With a diverse career background across different industries and roles, Katie is no stranger to career challenges. Given her deep understanding and personal experience in finding a role that fulfils you and a career where you can make a difference, Katie loves to inspire people to reach their potential in their careers, which led her to the recruitment industry. She understands the ups and downs that individual’s career paths take, and as such she is built to be an ideal recruiter, to work with the business and the job seeker to make sure that there is a strategic process and a strong bond formed. At Six Degrees, she has a specialist focus on accounting and finance.
Katie is a strong believer that each person is in charge of their own destiny, meaning that all must have a vision, a plan to get there, and a focus on everything in one’s career.
