Katie started with Six Degrees Executive Melbourne in 2019. As an Executive Consultant, she recruits across the senior end of Accounting and Finance with a specialist focus on Contracting roles including casual, contract, interim and fixed-term talent. Katie recruits at the senior qualified end of A&F including but not limited to Financial or Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner, FP&A, Commercial Manager, Finance Manager, Financial Controller, and Head of Finance roles.
Katie loves to inspire people to reach their potential in their careers, to her this looks like supporting and coaching candidates wherever they are in their career journey. She has focused on the Accounting and Finance space as she enjoys working with passionate and ambitious finance professionals.
Katie supports businesses through parental leave, transformation, project delivery, specialist capability gaps, urgent hiring needs and periods of change. She helps businesses understand where contracting can provide a faster, more flexible solution to their talent needs. After 8 years of contracting experience, Katie is a specialist recruiter with the skills to provide quality candidates at pace which means a quicker turnaround with minimal team and business disruption. She ensures a smooth, fast and seamless process, where she does the heavy lifting during a businesses’ most critical time of need. She enjoys getting a call from a client “in a pickle” and being the person who can solve their problem for them.
Katie loves to travel having visited 48 countries, loves skiing, scuba diving & playing sport, and is a proud mum of two boys. Katie speaks French having been born in Switzerland and has lived in 8 different countries across 4 continents. On the weekends, Katie spends her time with her husband and young family.
