Research Manager

Nicola joined Six Degrees Executive in 2026 as Research Manager within the Executive Search practice, supporting permanent Executive and C-suite appointments across Australia. Working closely with Client Partners, she leads talent research, market mapping and candidate engagement activities, helping organisations identify and secure high-calibre leadership talent across both private and public sector environments.

Holding a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance, alongside a Diploma of Modern Languages in German, Nicola brings a highly analytical and detail-oriented approach to executive search. Her experience spans Board, CEO, C-suite and senior management appointments, as well as succession planning, market intelligence and selection consulting. She has supported organisations across government, higher education, financial services, retail, telecommunications, mining, logistics and professional services, developing a strong understanding of the leadership capabilities required to drive organisational performance. Nicola is known for her thorough research methodology, strategic thinking and commitment to delivering search processes that are informed, rigorous and tailored to each client’s unique requirements.

Outside of work, Nicola enjoys baking, reading fantasy novels and watching K-dramas. She also loves spending time with her partner, dog and two cats, learning new languages, and recently applied to train as a Lifeline Crisis Supporter, reflecting her passion for helping others and contributing to the community.
