Continuous improvement of their safety culture and management systems is critical to their continued success, and in line with this they are looking to hire a high-performing Health and Safety Manager to lead their Safety team at their largest manufacturing site in Shepparton.
About the Role
Reporting into the Head of Operations, with a dotted line to the Head of Risk and Sustainability, the Health and Safety Manager will work with employees across the site to build a robust safety culture and continue the roll-out of the safety management system and policy.
You will be the go-to specialist on site for all health and safety matters, coaching a highly-engaged workforce. Operating with a high level of autonomy, you will have the opportunity to build a safety program from early stages to deeply embedded within the business. You'll be involved in the roll-out of the safety management system, and ongoing monitoring and improvements.
This role is ideal for a 'people person', with a strong grounding in safety backed up by the ability to engage on the shop floor and bring others along on the safety journey.

To be successful in the role you will have:
- Knowledge of HS frameworks, legislation, & regulations and experience implementing through policies & procedures successfully in a business.
- Ability to rapidly build rapport with all levels across the business, coupled with a genuine passion for safety
- Relevant qualifications within OH&S
- Experience within fast-moving consumer goods is essential to the success of the role
