About the company 

Our client is a leading food manufacturing organisation with regional headquarters based in regional Victoria. Due to continued growth in the area, an opportunity for a supply planning professional to join their growing team has arisen. 

About the role 
 
Reporting through to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Planner is a critical role responsible for ensuring that optimal stock coverage across retail channels that meet forecasted customer demand by category.

Duties  
  • Providing accurate and timely supply information to other functions of the business partaking in the S&OP process, including the Demand Planning team.
  • Applying a continuous improvement approach to processes and systems and strive for a 'best in class' supply planning environment. 
  • Ultimately develop a suitable and accurate Supply Plan for short-term planning horizon.  
  • Liaise consistently with ERP applications team to enhance the use of ERP in the Supply Planning process.
 
Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a Production/Supply planning capacity. 
  • Exposure to Dairy, Food or Beverage manufacturing environments. 
  • Strong leadership skills with first class communication and stakeholder management capability.
  • Advanced Excel Skills
