The Organisation
This company is a bulk liquid  site. This is a blending, storage and distribution operation. The product is an ingredient that is used by other manufacturers and diluted and mixed to create other products. The ingredients are transported in bulk tankers, IBCs (intermediate bulk containers) or drums. There are 20 people across the site. 

It is a small site, with 5 other permanent operators. No casual staff. This is a very friendly, down to earth culture.

The Role
  • This is a permanent job. 
  • Operator role including driving a forklift, unloading pallets from trucks. 
  • When big trucks come in you do have to connect all the pumps for the liquid to go into the bulk storage tankers onsite. There is some machine operating as well.
  • It is a type of job where when a truck comes in it is really really busy for a period, then it slows down again after.
  • Working Hours: 7am-3pm Mon-Fri (single shift, no weekends).
  • Location: Silverwater, NSW - you need to be able to drive to get to this site.
About You
  • You must have your LF Forklift ticket and experience driving a forklift to apply for this role. 
  • Previous experience operating machines.
  • High level of understanding of safety procedures as you will be dealing with bulk liquids and chemicals.
