Our Client is a leading player in the construction fit out industry, specialising in delivering high-quality interior solutions for commercial spaces. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their leadership team.
 
As the CFO, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and driving the overall financial health of the organisation. You will work closely with the owners to ensure sound financial management, strategic planning, and sustainable growth is achieved. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong financial acumen and a proven track record in the construction or related industry with exposure to high growth businesses.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership by developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning and alignment with business objectives.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, risk assessment, and performance evaluation to support informed decision-making and growth of the business.
  • Capital Management: Manage capital structure, cash flow to optimize financial resources and support business growth.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team and owners to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting and CA or CPA.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the construction or real estate industry.
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with construction project financial management is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance and contribute to overall business success.
