We are thrilled to be partnering with this global consumer health brand, as they seek a Senior Brand Manager to join them in their Brisbane HQ.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of brand leadership, brand strategy, and brand plan development and implementation. The Senior Brand Manager will ensure that their team of 4 are motivated, capable, and enabled to drive sales growth through best-in-class marketing output, that is aligned with the operations overall strategy for their portfolio of much-loved retail brands.  
 
As Senior Brand Manager, your major responsibilities and expectations will be:
  • To understand the local FMCG landscape – ideally with some knowledge or experience of the consumer health category, and an understanding of channel and competitor trends
  • To possess market intel and the ability to make informed product & pricing decisions through the analysis of market and category data
  • To expertly understand consumer needs, through customer insights planning & execution, as well as identifying category threats and challenges
  • To ideate and lead new growth ideas, alongside supporting evidence on the benefit to the retail business
  • Develop and suggest investment priorities against growth objectives
  • The full management and accountability of advertising and promotional budget
  • Lead cross functional communication with both internal and external stakeholders – from internal teams, to agencies, suppliers and customers
 
A typical ‘day in the life’ for this role, will vary, but will involve working on grocery channel innovation plans, price modelling and leading go to market plans – among many other things. To that end, experience within FMCG is of the essence, as is a clear and superior sense of commercial acumen. The Senior Brand Manager must be able to demonstrate experience in driving a brand agenda in a fast, evolving, and agile working environment, so a tenacious spirit is a must!
