Role Summary

As a Contracts Administrator, you will be instrumental in efficiently managing construction contracts and supporting Delivery Managers to ensure:
  • Accurate issuance of contracts reflecting the scope of works.
  • Timely issuance of variations as needed.
  • Resolution of disputes concerning contract fulfillment.
  • Assessment of claims to ensure alignment with contractual obligations, specifications, and timelines.
  • Collaboration with various business units to comprehend agreed commercial terms and proposed contract variations for informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Administration
    • Draft and execute contracts for data center construction projects exceeding $200m+, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
    • Administer contracts and agreements, handling variations and claims between stakeholders.
  • Project Management Support
    • Work closely with the local and international Delivery teams to accomplish project goals.
    • Attend project meetings, providing necessary administrative support.
  • Financial Management
    • Maintain updated project trackers, comparing them against project budgets.
    • Utilise cost management software for financial tracking and reporting, identifying significant changes.
    • Manage the approval process for project contingent budgets.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Regularly engage with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate smooth information flow.
    • Resolve disputes and manage expectations to mitigate project risks.
Essential Criteria
  • Organisational skills with the ability to collaborate across departments, including operations, subcontractors, and finance.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Contracts Administration, preferably within larger commercial construction projects (data center experience is highly advantageous).
  • Proficiency in cost management software and trackers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
