The Opportunity
 
This in an exciting opportunity for a highly energised Commercial Manager to join a global pharmaceutical company, with a comprehensive portfolio of prescription medicines and OTC healthcare product. The company is driven to provide high quality, affordable medicines to communities around the world.
 
The Role
 
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for providing valuable commercial and financial support to the Sales and Marketing teams, within the consumer OTC business unit. You will provide analytical insights to support commercial decision making and to optimise commercial performance.
 
In addition to leading the budgeting and forecasting process for the sales and marketing team, your responsibilities will include the following:
 
  • Provide commercial guidance and decision support for the Consumer Leadership team.
  • Provide financial modelling expertise and make recommendations to optimise financial performance.
  • New Product Development evaluation and implementation
  • Continuously look for opportunities to implement processes improvements to gain efficiencies.
  • Leading the small team of two commercial analysts, including managing and coaching and positively impacting their performance.
You
 
CA/CPA qualified, you will have a strong background within pharmaceuticals or FMCG, bringing high energy to the role from day one. With a collaborative style, you will enjoy being the trusted advisor to the wider business and be dedicated to making a positive impact with internal and external stakeholders.
 
We are open to applications from candidates with experience at this level or from Senior Commercial Analyst looking for an opportunity to step up into a manger role for the first time.
