IT Manager
My client is a national charity, originally founded in Melbourne. Their mission is to protect vulnerable members of the community, and to put an end to domestic violence.
Six Degrees Executive has exclusively partnered with a leader of primary prevention of violence against women and children, operating nationally this role will be based in their Melbourne Head Office. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, you will form part of the Corporate Services & Business Transformation leadership team and will lead three direct reports.
This organisation has seen substantial growth over the past 12 months, and the IT function requires a leader to manage projects, formulate and execute a security plan, manage external vendor relationships, and build key relationships with internal stakeholders. The IT Manager will play a pivotal role in updating systems and streamlining processes across the organisation and provide service management functions, being the point of contact for operational issues and the design and development of systems.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, understanding their objectives and challenges to provide effective IT solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritise IT opportunities that align with organisational goals and strategies.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of IT projects from ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and meet business needs.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with IT initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Oversee the organisation’s cyber security response and implement necessary initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Work closely with external vendors to evaluate and select technology solutions that meet business needs.
- Facilitate the adoption of new technologies within the business units, managing change and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
