About the role
Reporting into the Corporate Communications Lead, this newly created fixed term contract opportunity will support in developing and implementing effective communication plans and key projects to internal staff channels with the objective to drive engagement and develop a consistent internal communications function. Your duties include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the P&C and strategy teams to implement communications plans by identifying objectives and tone of voice and delivering on clear and consistent messaging to internal team members through intranet and eDM channels driving engagement.
- Work across a diverse range of HR implementation and re-branding projects where you will develop change communications, attend working groups and identify opportunities to effectively imbed new policies.
- Provide external facing channel support on an ad hoc basis including copywriting customer complaints responses, developing storytelling focused blogs for social media and assisting other teams with copywriting, signage copy and script writing.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of internal communications, making recommendations and improvements to enhance the effectiveness of overall communications.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or similar fields.
- A minimum of two years+ experience in internal Communications, with the ability to take initiative, consult and provide recommendations to stakeholders, as well as manage internal stakeholder relationships.
- Strong short and long form copy writing experience and the ability to develop engaging content across internal communications channels.
- Ability to assist with external communications on an ad hoc basis collaborating with other team members.
