About the company
Our client is a leading (FMCG) company based in Central Melbourne. Their commitment to delivering high-quality products to customers has established them as trusted brand in the industry. They have an extensive network both internationally and domestically. They produce many iconic and category leading products and are an industry powerhouse. Due to internal movement, an opportunity for a Supply Planner on a contract role has become available.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the demand planner to coordinate supply activities.
  • Utilise SAP to monitor stock levels and manage timely replenishments.
  • Foster relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and address potential supply disruptions.
  • Implement strategies to enhance inventory turnover and minimize stock shortages.
  • Analyse supply chain data to identify trends and propose actionable insights.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for a more efficient supply chain.
 
Skills & Experiences:
The role would suit someone with experience in planning, ideally within a FMCG environment and SAP experience would be highly regarded.
