 Our client is a global organisation widely recognised as a leader in technology and innovation in their chosen product range. Their regional headquarters is located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. This organisation is growing at a rapid rate and as a result, has newly created this role of Supply Coordinator. 
 
About the role 

Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Demand and Supply planner is responsible for ensuring that inventory availability meets future customer demand. Whilst also participating and employing S&OP and liaise with key stakeholders internally and externally.

Duties
  • The generation of a rolling demand plan over a short-term horizon in a seasonal, highly promotional environment. 
  • Ensuring inventory availability for a large and diverse customer base while keeping inventory holdings in line with broader company policy.
  • Ensuring that demand and supply planners have the technical and practical skills to effectively manage their portfolio of products.
  • Maintaining inventory integrity across the network through cross functional communication and thorough analysis.
  • Optimising stock turns while minimising existing slow moving and obsolete lines.
Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a demand or supply planning role. 
  • Demand and supply planning experience in a Imported goods environment is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership skills with first class communication and stakeholder management capability.
  • Advanced Excel Skills
