Position Available: Accountant

We're seeking an experienced Accountant to join a dynamic team.

As the dedicated Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Office Manager by overseeing the business's accounts and administrative functions.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Generate and issue monthly Baseline maintenance invoices in line with customer contracts, customer purchase orders and the Business’ policy
  • Correctly code all transactions in the job management and accounting system
  • Prepare cost recovery and job Profit & Loss reports 
  • Ensure overdue debtors are identified and actioned
  • Investigate and resolve account enquiries and irregularities
  • Ensure all relevant transactions are integrated between the job management and accounting system
  • Undertake EOM financial reporting and reconciliations, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reporting
  • Preparation of quarterly BAS
  • Other general Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
  • Polite, accurate and professional communication via the phone, email and face to face

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A strong financial background within facilities management, construction, or maintenance services is essential.
  • Display excellent communication skills and a talent for building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in navigating and utilizing various computer systems is essential.
  • Previous experience with Xero and/or AroFlo will be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the field, with a proven track record of commitment.
