This opportunity sits within a well-established procurement function for an ASX listed organisation based in the Eastern Suburbs.
The Opportunity
Information Technology plays a huge role in the success and future development of this organisation. Due to a recent promotion, there is an opportunity at Procurement Specialist level to support within a very well-established procurement function. This role presents itself as one that provides very strong potential for a fast track to Category Manager, one that would very easily define your career.
Skills and Experience Required
You will be someone that considers themselves a fast learner who has a strong grounding in procurement that is very eager to fast track their career. Experience in IT Procurement would be ideal however if not any procurement experience/knowledge in indirect categories would be suitable should you have the right aptitude to learn and develop in a different space. Ideally you will have around 3 years’ experience in a procurement role, to enable a certain level of autonomy in this position. You will be working very heavily within analytics, supporting the wider team with the ERP systems, and supporting the wider business with tender activity.
