About: 
Our client is a reputable industrial services company with a strong presence in the Queensland market. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced State Manager to lead their operations in Queensland.

Position Summary:
As the State Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of our client's Queensland network of 3 sites. This position combines strategic and operational responsibilities and requires a leader who can drive growth and maintain high standards of service in a competitive market.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the smooth operation of our client's Queensland network.
  • Manage and lead a team, including the Operations Manager, Operations team, Sales, Transfer Station staff, and Company Driver(s).
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Queensland market.
  • Maintain financial oversight, including budgeting and financial performance tracking.
  • Uphold a culture of safety, compliance, and excellence within the team.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to higher management.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar management role.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Industrial Services or Transport/Logistics Industry.
  • Proven track record in sales and marketing, with an emphasis on client acquisition.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Desirable: MR or HR license, willingness to travel as required.
