We are very excited to partner with a Large Government Department as we search for a Service Desk Team Lead to join their IT Service Desk Team on a full-time permanent basis. 

Your Opportunity:
Are you ready to lead and manage an IT Service Desk team? As the Team Leader, you will spearhead the delivery of technical support and client services in alignment with business objectives. This is your chance to make a real impact and drive excellence in IT service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the IT Service Desk team to ensure timely, effective, and client-focused services
  • Support your team through change, fostering a high-performing culture with a strong client focus
  • Monitor and manage the Service Desk queue to ensure all incidents are resolved promptly
  • Take charge of high-priority incidents, ensuring swift resolution within SLA timeframes
  • Provide strategic direction to enhance existing processes and policies for improved support delivery
  • Represent the IT Service Desk at internal and external forums as needed
Success Criteria: To excel in this role, you'll need:
  • Working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft O365, Active Directory, iPhone, iPad, and more 
  • Familiarity with Service Desk management tools like Service Now
  • Strong leadership skills to build and motivate an effective team
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Min 2 years experience managing a service desk
