Over the last 12 months, our clients total sales were $565 million which is up by +12.9% from the previous financial year, with online sales up 4.5% to circa 20% and their Technology footprint is only growing. This leading organisation is Australia’s largest omni-channel retailer within their market making this a fantastic opportunity to contribute to their success within a supportive team environment.
Note: This role is based in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs and will require you to be onsite 2-3 days a week. They will however be moving to Chadstone shopping centre mid-2025.
The Opportunity
The Integration Lead will be responsible for overseeing the integration of various systems, applications and databases within their retail organisation. This role provides specialist technical advice in relation to existing processes and will be responsible for planning, problem-solving and implementing requirements within ICT programs.
Reporting to the Integration & eCommerce Lead, this role will support Solution Design, Continuous Improvement and Performance Testing & Optimization to name a few areas.

About the role
You will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
Solution Design and Implementation:
- Design and implement integration solutions to connect eCommerce platforms, ERP systems, external systems, and internal systems using MuleSoft, Azure Integration Suite (Logic App, API Gateway, Azure Storage, Azure Functions), SQL Server, SSIS, MongoDB, MQ, and other integration tools.
- Develop detailed solution designs and derive development tasks based on business and project requirements.
- Utilize tools such as Jenkins, Git, and DevOps practices for continuous integration and delivery.
- Manage deployment processes, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment of integration solutions into production environments.
- Prepare technical specifications and documentation for integration projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth integration processes.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and resolving integration issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure system availability.
- Lead data and system migration efforts, ensuring data integrity and system functionality throughout the migration process.
- Maintain integration artifacts and ensure adherence to maintenance best practices, with a focus on scalability and reliability.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in integration technologies.
- Lead and conduct performance tests to assess the scalability and efficiency of integration solutions, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
To be considered for this role, you will need (but not limited to) the following:
- 10 + years of Software Integration experience with 2-3 years as an Integration Lead
- 3 + years of experience working with MuleSoft & Azure Suite integrations (ideally within an ecommerce setting)
- Experience working with Legacy platforms (such as SQL Server or SSIS)
- Ability to lead the redesign and development of new platforms
- Can drive discussions, solutions and manage stakeholders
- Have a Can-Do attitude who enjoys supporting others and achieving outcomes
- Can work with Third-Party software vendors
- RDBM to SQL experience (a bonus)
