Materials Planner (Albury/Wodonga Location)

Our client is a leader in beverage manufacturing categories and an instantly recognisable FMCG brand. They require a Materials Planners to assist them through a period of structural change. This role is based at the Albury/Wadonga manufacturing site.
About the role
Reporting through to the Procurement Manager, in this stand-alone position, the materials planner is a critical role responsible for ensuring that raw materials and ingredients coverage meets site production schedules, delivering on DIFOT targets.
Key accountability includes the provision of accurate and timely supply information to other functions of the business partaking in the S&OP process and the improvement of supply chain tools and processes used to meet organisational goals. In addition, the application of a continuous improvement approach to processes and systems to strive for a 'best in class' materials planning environment will be required.
Key Responsibilties:
- Manage the daily & weekly materials planning and procurement processes.
- Manage inventory materials policy and stock movements
- Assist with NPD projects
- Maintain master data through SAP.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interpret and analyse data, work effectively on MRP systems (SAP) and have advanced Microsoft Excel skills. The successful candidate will be hands on, resilient and have proven skills working across all functions of an organisation to deliver exceptional results.
