The Company:
Our client is a leading FMCG business based in Melbourne. They have a portfolio of highly regarded brands and large market share across the FMCG sectors nationally. Due to internal movements, a contract opportunity is available for a July start. There is a strong possibility of permanency for the right person.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the demand planner to coordinate supply activities.
  • Utilise their ERP system to monitor stock levels and manage timely replenishments.
  • Foster relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and address potential supply disruptions.
  • Implement strategies to enhance inventory turnover and minimize stock shortages.
  • Analyse supply chain data to identify trends and propose actionable insights.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for a more efficient supply chain.
 
Skills & Experiences:
The role would suit someone with experience in planning, ideally within a FMCG environment and experience within a top tier ERP system would be highly regarded.
