A global manufacturing juggernaut is currently going through an exciting period of transformation and is on the lookout for a Project/PMO Officer to join their highly-skilled team. With their Australian headquarters located in the SE suburbs of Melbourne, this organisation brings over 300 years of rich history and is a daily staple for people all around the world. This newly created position will be a business-critical in ensuring the adequate planning and execution of business improvement projects. It will suit someone who has either previous finance of data analysis experience and who is looking for a role where no two days will be the same. A strong understanding of business analysis and project management principles will be necessary, as will the ability to assess process and projects from a commercial viability viewpoint.

They are seeking someone with the following skills and experience:
  • A versatile skill set across business analysis and project management
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Ability to evaluate the commercial viability and feasibility of projects/initiatives
  • Confidence to produce and present on current trends and new business opportunities
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Prior experience and excellent knowledge of FMCG and/or manufacturing industries

This role will be based out of the organisations head office in Melbourne's south-east and will require 3-4 days per week in their office/manufacturing facility. Due to the organisation being based across a number of time zones, there will be an occasional need to work outside of normal office hours.
