Structural Foreman

Six Degrees Executive have partnered with a specialised high-rise builder and developer, who is seeking an experienced Structural Foreman to support the delivery of a high end multi-residential project located on the Gold Coast – circa $90mil in value.  
As the Structural Foreman, you will be working under an experienced Site Manager and will be responsible for coordinating and managing all trades, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of a bespoke multi-residential project.
  • Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities, including the subcontractors to ensure they adhere to the project schedule.
  • Monitor and maintain health and safety on-site requirements.
  • Ensure work is carried out in compliance with building regulations, planning permission and company policies.
  • Conduct quality checks and defect management.
  • Ensure the project is tidy and clean prior to being handed over.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as structural, or general foreman working on high end multi-residential projects ranging from $25mil + in value.
  • Experience focusing predominately on the structural stages of a project.
  • Strong level of construction knowledge, best practices, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • QBCC supervisors license and unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Proven experience with trade coordination / scheduling and program management.
  • Relevant trade-based qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
