About the role 
The Fundraising Portfolio Coordinator plays a vital role within the Relationships Team, with a primary focus on the mid-value donor program – the '2030 Action Plan.' This role involves building and nurturing long-term relationships with donors, creating personalised supporter journeys to drive income growth. This position also includes responsibility of the Climate Council’s corporate fundraising, with the view of maintaining and strengthening the Climate Council’s fundraising outcomes. 
 
Skills & Experience 
To be successful in the role you will: 
  • Have experience in building strong relationships within your organisation, ensuring we are able to maintain relationships long term 
  • Have minimum 2 years of experience working in fundraising preferably, but also business development/ or marketing with a proven record of donor/stakeholder stewardship 
  • Be able to read data and insights to improve mid value strategies and deepen relationships 
  • Be able to work across programs of work as required to ensure that key stakeholders are well looked after. 
  • Have excellent written communication skills
