This role will support the Procurement Officers and will focus on managing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and maintaining Master Data integrity. This role will support the Procurement Officers and will focus on managing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and maintaining Master Data integrity. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and issuance of purchase orders.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels through Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of Master Data within procurement systems.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms and resolve issues promptly.
- Support Procurement Officers in vendor selection and evaluation processes.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in maintaining documentation and records related to procurement activities.
- Provide administrative support to the procurement team as needed.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a procurement role, preferably within a manufacturing or related industry.
- Proficiency in using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and maintaining Master Data.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
